Studies at the center will focus on hydrogen, carbon capture, the coast and low-carbon fuels, as well as specialties for workforce solutions: talent, research and development, policy and economics.
A total of $6.4 million of the gift is dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives centered on faculty, student support and workforce development.
Included within the space will be a CCUS-focused energy incubator, providing seamless integration with the work of the Institute for Energy Innovation.
